Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at james.sportsrehab@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Injury rehabilitation is a structured, personalised process designed to help you recover from musculoskeletal injuries—such as sprains, strains, joint pain, or post-surgical conditions—through hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and movement retraining. The goal is to restore and improve function, reduce pain, and prevent future injury.

  •  Muscle strains and ligament sprains
  • Shoulder, knee, ankle, and hip injuries
  • Tendon issues (e.g. Achilles, rotator cuff, patellar tendinopathy)
  • Lower back and neck pain
  • Sports injuries
  • Post-operative rehab (e.g. ACL, meniscus, joint repair)
  • And more!

No referral is required. You can book directly for an initial consultation.

  • A detailed assessment of your injury and medical history
  • Physical tests to understand movement, strength, and pain triggers
  • A diagnosis (or working diagnosis) and discussion of your rehab plan
  • Initial treatment and exercise prescription to get started right away

This varies based on your injury, goals, and lifestyle. Some clients benefit from just a few sessions, while others require a longer-term rehab plan. You’ll be guided through each stage of recovery with regular progress reviews

Yes — many clients come to us with persistent or previously untreated injuries. We’ll assess the current state of the injury and build a realistic plan for regaining strength, mobility, and confidence.

Absolutely. Whether you're a runner, footballer, gym-goer, or someone with everyday aches and pains, our approach is tailored to your activity level, goals, and lifestyle.

You may feel some discomfort during exercises or treatment, but nothing should be painful. We always prioritise safety, clear communication, and working within your limits to ensure a positive, productive experience

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely (e.g. gym wear). If the injury is in a specific area (e.g. shoulder, knee), clothing that gives access to that area is helpful. Bring any relevant medical reports or referral letters if you have them.

You can book by calling me directly at 07712165898 or emailing james.sportsrehab@hmail.com. Appointments available throughout the week and must be booked in advance.
